**Hosur, Tamil Nadu, April 27, 2025** – District Collector C. Dinesh Kumar conducted a site inspection in Hosur yesterday to review plans for a new Integrated Storm Water Drainage scheme. The scheme, proposed for implementation in 2025-26, aims to address chronic flooding in the city. The review was requested by the Tamil Nadu Urban Infrastructure Financial Services Limited (TNUIFSL) following a proposal presented to the State Assembly. Collector Kumar inspected several flood-prone areas, including the Rayakottai road bridge, the old municipality, and KCC Nagar Raja Kalvai. The initiative is part of a broader effort to improve water resource management in Hosur.
