**PATNA, INDIA (April 27, 2025)** – The Bihar state government announced today that all Pakistani nationals who visited the state since January 2025 have left India before the April 27th deadline set by the central government. Following India’s revocation of all visas issued to Pakistani citizens in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, Bihar officials ensured compliance with the order.

According to the state government, 19 Pakistani visitors holding tourist and visit visas departed Bihar on or before April 25th. Only those with valid medical visas and long-term visas remain in the state, with the medical visas expiring on April 29th. The state’s home department had previously directed all district officials to enforce the central government’s decision. The swift departure of Pakistani nationals follows the Indian government’s suspension of visa services to Pakistani citizens.
