The party, instrumental in the formation of Telangana state after a 14-year-long struggle, is currently in the opposition after a decade in power.

The silver jubilee celebrations are being held on a grand scale, utilizing 1,213 acres of land. The main stage alone spans 154 acres and is designed to accommodate 500,000 people. Extensive arrangements have been made for parking (1,059 acres), seating (over 100,000 chairs), and amenities, including 200 large generators to power the event’s lighting and 23 giant LED screens to ensure clear visibility of Chief Minister KCR’s speech.
