Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh: Yash Pratap Singh from Jalaun has secured the top spot in the Uttar Pradesh Board’s High School examinations, achieving a remarkable 97.83%. The results were announced Friday. Singh, a student of Ras Kendri Devi Inter College in Umari, attributes his success to his teachers and dedicated study habits, averaging 13-14 hours of study daily, and increasing this to 18-20 hours during exam preparation.
Despite his academic achievements, Singh maintains a simple lifestyle, eschewing mobile phones, films, and social media. His father, Vinay Kumar Singh, is the principal of the same college. The entire district is celebrating Singh’s achievement, with his parents expressing immense pride. He currently resides with his older brother, a government teacher in Kasganj. Singh aspires to become an IAS officer and serve the nation. He expressed his sadness regarding the recent Pulwama attack.
