Sat Apr 26 03:30:00 UTC 2025: ## UP Board Declares Class 10, 12 Results: Girls Outshine Boys, High Pass Percentage
**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh –** The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) announced the results for the 2025 Class 10 and 12 board examinations today. Over 5.4 million students appeared for the exams, which were held from February 24th to March 12th across 8,140 centers.
The overall pass percentage for Class 10 is a commendable 90.11%, while Class 12 achieved an 81.15% pass rate. Significantly, female students outperformed their male counterparts in both classes. Girls secured a 93.87% pass rate in Class 10, compared to 86.66% for boys, and an 86.37% pass rate in Class 12, exceeding the boys’ 76.60%.
Agra district boasted the highest pass percentage for Class 10 (94.99%), while Sonbhadra recorded the lowest (74.22%).
Yash Pratap Singh from Jalaun topped the Class 10 exams with 97.83%, while Mahak Jaiswal from Prayagraj secured the top spot in Class 12 with 97.20%.
Results are available on the official UPMSP websites (upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in), the NDTV education portal (ndtv.com/education/results), and, for the first time, on DigiLocker (results.digilocker.gov.in). Students can also check their results via SMS by texting UP10 (Class 10) or UP12 (Class 12) to 56263.
The UPMSP press conference, where the results and top rankers were announced, was also livestreamed on YouTube. Further details regarding compartmental exams for students who failed one or two subjects are expected to be released soon.
