Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh – The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) released the highly anticipated results for the 2025 Class 10th and 12th board examinations today, April 25th, at 12:30 PM. A total of 54 lakh students passed the exams.
The results were announced at a press conference by UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh in Prayagraj. The announcement included the overall pass percentage, a list of toppers, and district-wise pass percentages.
**Top Performers:**
* **Class 12th:** Mahk Jaiswal from Bachcha Ram Yadav Inter College, Bhulai (Prayagraj) secured the top rank with 97.20%.
* **Class 10th:** Yash Pratap Singh from Raskendri Devi Inter College, Umri (Jalaun) achieved the highest score with 97.83%.
The pass percentage for Class 12th was 81.15%, while Class 10th saw a pass percentage of 90.11%. Students can access their results on the official UP Board websites (upresults.nic.in and upmsp.edu.in) and through the NDTV education page. Results are also available on DigiLocker.
The UP Board exams, which were conducted from February 24th to March 12th, were marked by stringent anti-cheating measures, including extensive CCTV surveillance across over 8,140 examination centers. A remarkable 91 out of 94 prisoners who sat for the exams passed, achieving a 96% pass rate.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Independent Minister of Secondary Education, Gulab Devi, congratulated the successful students. The board also highlighted the remarkably fast turnaround time; the evaluation was completed within 15 days of the conclusion of exams. The original mark sheets will be distributed by schools within 15 days of the results announcement, while digital mark sheets are immediately available. The board also introduced the provision of online duplicate mark sheets for students.
