**Bengaluru, April 26, 2025** – Residents of Bengaluru will have the opportunity to purchase fresh, locally sourced agricultural produce from two separate farmer’s markets (“Raitha Santhes”) this Saturday. One market, organized by the Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS), will be held for two days in Rajarajeshwarinagar, marking its second edition. Simultaneously, the University of Agricultural Sciences-Bengaluru (UAS-B) will host a one-day market at its GKVK campus, showcasing university-developed products and those promoted by self-help groups.

The UAS-B market, open from 7 am to 4 pm, aims to promote agricultural awareness and activity. A wide range of goods will be available, including seeds, bio-fertilizers, medicinal plants, tools, handmade soaps, ready-to-cook meals, millet products, and sweets. Both markets offer city residents convenient access to farm-fresh produce in both the north and south of the city.
