**MUMBAI, INDIA** – Fans in India will get to see Tom Cruise’s *Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One* earlier than expected. Paramount Pictures India announced on Instagram that the film’s release date has been moved forward to May 17th, from its previously scheduled May 23rd release. The action thriller, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, will be shown in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
The announcement follows a series of behind-the-scenes glimpses released by Paramount, showcasing Cruise’s daring stunts, including an underwater submarine sequence and a breathtaking helicopter stunt filmed at 8000 feet with 140 mph winds – all without CGI. The film also highlights the extreme filming conditions in Svalbard, Norway.
The film, which also stars Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, and Esai Morales, will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14th.
