**Gurugram, April 26, 2025** – Six sanitation workers were killed and five others critically injured in a tragic accident on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Saturday morning. The workers were struck by a speeding pickup truck while cleaning the expressway near Ibrahimbas village in Nuh district, Haryana.
The accident occurred around 10 a.m. Police reported that approximately 11 sanitation workers were working when the truck hit them, resulting in six immediate fatalities. Locals assisted in transporting the injured to the hospital.
While the deceased haven’t yet been formally identified, police believe they are primarily residents of Kheri Kalan and Jhimrawat villages. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident, and authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and other evidence. The driver of the pickup truck is facing potential charges. The condition of the five injured workers remains critical.
