Sat Apr 26 13:41:06 UTC 2025: **Hyderabad Hosts First-Ever Shirdi Sai-Laxmi Mahayagnam Outside Shirdi**
HYDERABAD, April 26, 2025 – Thousands of devotees attended the first-ever Shirdi Sai-Laxmi Mahayagnam held outside of Shirdi, at Hyderabad’s NTR grounds. Organized by the Shri Saibhakt Laxmibai Shinde Trust, the event featured a grand havan with 999 Kunds, devotional singing, and a Palkhi Yatra showcasing a sacred photo of Sai Baba and his divine nine coins.
Arun Shinde-Gaikwad Patil, Managing Trustee of the Trust, highlighted the significance of the event as the first time in 25 years the Mahayagnam had been held outside Shirdi. The gathering aimed to honor Sai Baba’s legacy and bring together devotees and spiritual leaders.
Shailaja Maa Shinde Gaikwad, granddaughter of Laxmibai Shinde, and former minister Geetha Reddy were among the attendees. Estimates place the number of participants between 5,000 and 6,000.
