**New York, NY** – CBS has announced the cancellation of six shows ahead of the 2025-2026 television season, leaving fans of several popular programs disappointed. Among the casualties are the long-running police drama “Blue Bloods” (14 seasons), the crime procedurals “FBI: Most Wanted” (6 seasons) and “FBI: International” (4 seasons), and the action series “S.W.A.T.” (8 seasons). Also canceled are the freshman comedy “Poppa’s House” and the reality competition show “The Summit.”

The cancellation of “Blue Bloods,” a consistent performer for CBS, has been met with frustration from star Tom Selleck, who pointed out the show’s consistently high ratings. “Poppa’s House,” starring Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr., had the shortest run, lasting only one season.

While several shows have been canceled, CBS has renewed a number of others for the upcoming season, including “Fire Country,” “Ghosts,” “Matlock,” and the “NCIS” franchise. Fans of “Blue Bloods” can still stream the series on Paramount+.
