**Srinagar, April 26, 2025** – Indian security forces have demolished the homes of three more Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists suspected of involvement in the April 22nd Pahalgam attack, which killed 26 people. This brings the total number of terrorist homes destroyed in retaliation to five. The houses of Ehsan Ul (Pulwama), Shabir Ahmad (Shopian), and Zakir Gani (Kulgam) were razed.
The attack has prompted a strong response from India, including the demolition of the terrorists’ homes and a crackdown on suspected accomplices. Authorities have arrested two individuals in Kulgam with alleged links to the terrorists and are investigating their involvement in the attack. Reward posters offering ₹20 lakh for information leading to the capture of four suspects whose images have been released are still circulating.
Further, India has taken strong diplomatic action against Pakistan, suspected of aiding the terrorists. Actions include revoking the Indus Waters Treaty, expelling Pakistani nationals from India within 48 hours, and ordering the Pakistani High Commissioner to leave the country within one week. Pakistan has retaliated by suspending the Simla Agreement and barring Indian flights from its airspace. Security forces continue their intensified search operations across Jammu and Kashmir.
