Sat Apr 26 08:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Cannes Competition Title “Die, My Love” Lands Major Sales Deal
**CANNES, FRANCE** – 193, the international sales outfit founded by former Lionsgate and Summit executive Patrick Wachsberger, has secured a major coup, acquiring the international sales rights to Lynne Ramsay’s highly anticipated film, “Die, My Love.” The Cannes Film Festival Competition entry stars A-list actors Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson, LaKeith Stanfield, Sissy Spacek, and Nick Nolte.
The film, based on Ariana Harwicz’s 2017 novel, is described as a psychological drama portraying a woman’s descent into madness within a passionate, yet volatile relationship. Pattinson plays her husband, while Stanfield portrays her lover. The film is set in rural America.
Ramsay, known for her critically acclaimed works including “You Were Never Really Here” and “We Need to Talk About Kevin,” co-wrote the screenplay with Enda Walsh and Alice Burch. The film is produced by Justine Ciarrocchi, Lawrence (Excellent Cadaver), and a high-profile team including Martin Scorsese, Andrea Calderwood, and Black Label Media.
Rick Yorn of LBI Entertainment is handling domestic sales. This marks 193’s second major acquisition following the earlier announcement of “The Toxic Avenger” starring Peter Dinklage. The deal further cements 193’s position as a significant player in the international film market. Early images from the film, released on Instagram last fall, have already generated considerable buzz.
