**LOS ANGELES –** IDW Publishing is partnering with Webtoon to bring popular graphic novels to a new audience through the platform’s unique vertical scrolling format. Three titles will launch initially: *Godzilla: Unnatural Disasters*, *Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees* by Patrick Horvath, and George Takei’s memoir *They Called Us Enemy*. While these comics are available elsewhere digitally, the Webtoon versions will feature exclusive, vertically optimized layouts.

IDW CEO & Publisher Davidi Jonas stated that this collaboration is key to their goal of making comics more accessible and creatively engaging for fans. This follows a similar successful partnership between Webtoon and Dark Horse Comics in 2024, which saw *Avatar: The Last Airbender* comics adapted for the vertical format. IDW plans to announce further titles soon.
