Fri Apr 25 19:37:46 UTC 2025: ## BJP Promises Development in Kerala, Criticizes Ruling Parties’ Record

**Kannur, Kerala – April 26, 2025** – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Rajeev Chandrasekhar launched a scathing attack on the ruling parties in Kerala, claiming their governance has led to underdevelopment and lack of job opportunities. Speaking at a ‘Vikasitha Keralam’ (Developed Kerala) convention, Chandrasekhar asserted that the BJP’s development agenda is not just a slogan but a commitment.

Chandrasekhar contrasted the BJP’s development-focused approach with what he described as the failures of the Congress and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)]. He highlighted Kerala’s lagging development indicators compared to the rest of India, citing deficiencies in infrastructure, employment generation, and investment. He accused the state government of ineffective policies and simply rebranding central government schemes. He further emphasized the plight of Kerala’s youth, who are forced to seek jobs and education elsewhere.

The BJP leader called on party workers to actively counter what he termed a false narrative portraying the BJP as a communal party. The ‘Vikasitha Keralam’ campaign aims to present a contrasting vision of development and progress for the state.
