Vijayawada, April 26, 2025 – Sajjala Sridhar Reddy, a key accused in the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam, was arrested by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Saturday. Reddy, accused number six in the case, was apprehended at his Hyderabad residence and subsequently transferred to Vijayawada. He is expected to be presented before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court. Investigators allege Reddy, also the managing director of Spy Agro Industries, acted as a mediator between distillery owners, state officials, and YSR Congress party leaders, facilitating the receipt of kickbacks.
