Fri Apr 25 21:55:00 UTC 2025: ## Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Launches Development Projects Worth ₹100 Crore
**PITHAPURAM, Andhra Pradesh, April 26, 2025** – Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan inaugurated several development projects in the Pithapuram Assembly constituency on Friday, totaling ₹100 crore. Key initiatives include the upgrade of a 30-bed Community Health Centre (CHC) into a 100-bed Area Hospital costing ₹34 crore, and a Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Kalyana Mandapam (wedding hall) costing ₹2 crore.
The new Area Hospital, fulfilling a key election promise, will serve three lakh people across Pithapuram town and six surrounding mandals. It will feature an outpatient ward, mortuary, ENT and ophthalmology block, and a blood bank. The TTD Kalyana Mandapam aims to provide affordable wedding facilities for 10,000 families.
Additional projects include an open hall at Gollaprolu village (₹1.32 crore), a chariot hall and open hall at the Sri Sita Rama temple in Chebrolu (₹48 lakh), and the distribution of 3,456 sewing machines to women (₹8.2 crore). The Deputy Chief Minister also distributed farm machinery and 2,000 tarpaulins to farmers, with half the funding provided by ONGC as part of its CSR initiative. Furthermore, Mr. Kalyan acknowledged the allocation of ₹3 crore for Pithapuram Municipality development and ₹1 crore for Gollaprolu Nagar Panchayat, courtesy of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P.
