**Hyderabad, April 26, 2025** – State excise officials in Hyderabad conducted a raid at Trops Bar in Madhapur, resulting in the seizure of 75 bottles of adulterated liquor worth approximately ₹1.5 lakh. The raid, prompted by the bar’s expired license, uncovered a scheme to mix cheap alcohol into premium bottles.
Bar manager V. Satyanarayana Reddy and staff member Punith Patnaik were arrested and charged with adulteration. The bar’s license holder, Uday Kumar Reddy, is also implicated in the ongoing investigation. The officials from the Lingampally excise station discovered the illegal activity during a routine inspection. Further investigations are underway.
