**GREEN BAY, WI** – The Green Bay Packers added to their defensive line on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft, selecting Texas Longhorns defensive lineman Barryn Sorrell with the 124th overall pick. Sorrell, a three-year starter, brings impressive production to Green Bay, having recorded 15.5 sacks and 29 quarterback hits in 43 games (40 starts) for Texas. He also tallied 125 tackles, including 24.5 for loss, over his college career. Sorrell joins former Texas teammate and first-round pick Matthew Golden in Green Bay. His athleticism was showcased at the scouting combine with a 4.68-second 40-yard dash, a 34-inch vertical jump, and 28 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. The selection marks the Packers’ first defensive pick of the draft.
