**Visakhapatnam, April 25, 2025** – Two special trains will be extended to alleviate the expected increase in passenger traffic during the summer months. The Visakhapatnam-Cherlapalli Special (08579) will run on six additional dates in April and May, departing Visakhapatnam at 5:30 PM and arriving in Cherlapalli the following day at 7:20 AM. The return service (08580) will operate on corresponding dates. The Sambalpur-Erode Weekly Special Express (08311) will also be extended, running from May 7th to June 25th, with a return service (08312) from May 9th to June 27th.

Both trains will make multiple stops along their routes, including major cities in Andhra Pradesh. The Visakhapatnam-Cherlapalli service will feature a variety of seating classes, including AC and sleeper compartments, along with a dedicated coach for passengers with disabilities. The Sambalpur-Erode service will also offer AC and sleeper accommodations, with provisions for disabled passengers.
