While scoring 45 runs against the Delhi Capitals in the 40th match of IPL 2025, Marsh achieved 1000 career runs in the tournament. However, the remarkable aspect isn’t the achievement itself, but the time it took. Unlike modern-day cricketers who typically reach this mark within 3-4 seasons, Marsh has taken a staggering 16 years. His IPL debut was in 2010 with the Deccan Chargers.
