**Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, April 22, 2025** – Water levels in the Papanasam and Manimuthar dams in Tirunelveli District have decreased, according to the latest readings. The Papanasam dam currently sits at 87.35 feet (out of a maximum 143 feet), with an inflow of 123.72 cusecs and an outflow of 200 cusecs. The Manimuthar dam’s water level stands at 85.85 feet (out of a maximum 118 feet), with an inflow of 53.96 cusecs and no outflow. These figures were released late Tuesday evening.
