**Madurai, April 22, 2025** – Water levels in key Tamil Nadu dams remain stable, according to a report released today. The Mullaperiyar dam registered a level of 113.90 feet (maximum permissible 142 ft), with inflow and outflow both at 100 cusecs. The Vaigai dam stood at 56.20 feet (maximum 71 ft), with an inflow of 110 cusecs and an outflow of 72 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was reported at 2,047.50 mcft. The report offers no cause for immediate concern regarding water levels in these critical reservoirs.
