**New Delhi:** The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to release the final results for the Civil Services Examination 2024 in the coming days. The interviews, the final stage of the selection process, concluded on April 17th, 2025. Candidates can check their results on the official UPSC website once released.
The 2024 exam cycle began with registrations on February 14th, 2024, followed by the preliminary exam on June 16th and the mains exam in September. The preliminary results were announced on July 1st, and the mains results on December 9th. A total of 1206 vacancies are to be filled through this exam, with over 1100 IAS, IPS, and IRS officers expected to be appointed following the final results. Some positions may be filled from a reserve list at a later date.
The release of the results concludes a lengthy process that began over a year ago. The UPSC website will be the official source for the results.
