**Hyderabad, April 22, 2025** – Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president T. Jayaprakash Reddy has donated ₹10 lakh to Amani, a 45-year-old cancer-stricken widow in Sadashivpet, Sangareddy district. Amani, a mother of two, shared her financial struggles with Mr. Reddy during his visit. She had already incurred ₹7 lakh in debt for her treatment and was facing immense hardship following the death of her husband.

Mr. Reddy, moved by her plight, immediately arranged the financial assistance. He praised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s initiative to screen Amani for cancer and pledged to bring the challenges faced by impoverished cancer patients to the Chief Minister’s attention. He appealed to donors and NGOs for further support, stating that many poor families are devastated by the costs of cancer treatment. Mr. Reddy also stated that publicizing Amani’s story aims to inspire others to donate to similar causes.
