**Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, April 22, 2025** – R. Sri Rusat, a 22-year-old from Ramanathapuram, has achieved remarkable success in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2024. He secured an impressive 52nd rank nationally and fifth in the state.
Rusat, who completed his schooling at various institutions, including Kendriya Vidyalaya in Mandapam, earned a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Motilal Nehru College, University of Delhi. He prepared for the exam at a private coaching institute in New Delhi and cleared it on his first attempt.
Inspired by the life and works of former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, also from Ramanathapuram district, Rusat attributed his success to the motivation he received from his family and teachers. He stated that Kalam’s example instilled in him a desire to serve the people. His family’s unwavering support also played a crucial role in his achievement.
