**Tiruchi, April 23, 2025** – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has urged Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to add stops at four stations along the newly launched Tambaram-Rameswaram Pamban Express route. A BJP delegation, led by state general secretary Karuppu M. The memorandum acknowledged the introduction of the Pamban Express but highlighted the absence of these crucial stops, impacting daily commuters in the region. Given the recent completion of gauge conversion on the Pattukottai-Karaikudi route, the BJP argued that the Pamban Express is the first daily service on this line and that adding a one-minute stop at each station would greatly benefit the local population. The delegation included national council member Thanga Varadharajan and Tiruchi Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee member Abdul Razak.
