**Bengaluru, April 22, 2025** – The Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RIT) commemorated the 103rd birth anniversary of its founder, Dr. M.S. Ramaiah, with a memorial lecture delivered by V. Narayanan, Secretary of the Department of Space and Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

The lecture, titled “Indian Space Programme – Pride of the Nation: Past Success, Present Efforts and Future Endeavours,” highlighted the achievements of India’s space program, including the Chandrayaan missions, and outlined future goals focused on innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration.

The event, held on Monday, April 21st, brought together dignitaries, academics, and members of the Gokula Education Foundation (GEF), honoring Dr. Ramaiah’s contributions to education and national development. Other speakers included M.R. Jayaram, Chairman of GEF (Medical) and Chancellor of RUAS, who spoke on post-independence progress, and M.R. Seetharam, Chairman of GEF, who delivered the presidential address. The event concluded with a tribute to Dr. Ramaiah’s legacy of promoting education, discipline, and self-reliance.
