**Belagavi, Karnataka, April 22, 2025** – A 49-year-old homemaker, Anjana Ajit Daddikar, was found strangled to death in her Ganeshpur home on the night of April 21st. Police suspect robbery as the motive, as valuables including her mangalsutra and earrings were missing.
Her husband, Ajit Daddikar, an auto-rickshaw driver, reported finding her unconscious. However, doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. Deputy Commissioners of Police Rohan Jagadeesh and Niranjan Raje Urs, along with Circle Inspector Altaf Mulla, visited the crime scene.
Authorities have confirmed that one suspect is in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
