**Kozhikode, Kerala – April 22, 2025** – Kerala is gearing up to host two major events in Kozhikode from May 2nd to 13th. The “Ente Keralam” expo, celebrating the fourth anniversary of the Left Democratic Front government, and the National Saras Mela, a crafts fair showcasing self-help groups (SHGs) from across India, will be held concurrently at Kozhikode beach.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate both events on May 3rd. The Saras Mela will occupy 85,000 square feet, featuring approximately 250 stalls, including 90 from other states. The “Ente Keralam” expo, covering 4,500 square feet, will highlight government achievements and services. A shared food court run by Kudumbashree will cater to attendees.
In addition to the main exhibitions, a variety of cultural events are planned, including painting on a 100-meter canvas, flash mobs, celebrity football matches, daily seminars, and a showcase of young achievers. A collaborative event, “Ente Kozhikode,” organized by the Kozhikode Corporation, district administration, and the Calicut Press Club, will also be part of the festivities.
