**Hyderabad, April 22, 2025** – Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has proposed a partnership with Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, focusing on building a more sustainable and inclusive world. During a visit to Hiroshima, Reddy emphasized collaboration over investment, highlighting shared values of peace, sustainability, and prosperity.
The delegation, which included Telangana’s Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, met with Hiroshima Prefectural Assembly Speaker Takashi Nakamoto and other legislators. Discussions covered various areas of cooperation, followed by visits to the Gandhi Memorial, Hiroshima Memorial Park, and the Atomic Bombing Dome.
Reddy drew parallels between Hiroshima’s resilience and Telangana’s own journey of struggle and achievement. Babu highlighted the existing presence of over 50 Japanese firms in Telangana and invited further investment in sectors like clean energy, electric mobility, and green hydrogen. He positioned Telangana as a gateway for Japanese companies expanding into India. The partnership aims to foster a strong bond between Hiroshima and Hyderabad, strengthening ties between Japan and Telangana.
