**COIMBATORE, April 22, 2025** – A wild male elephant exhibiting signs of illness has been discovered in the Koothamandi area of the Sirumugai reserve forest. Forest Department officials are providing the animal with medical care, administering antibiotics, painkillers, deworming tablets, and a liver tonic via watermelon and bananas. The elephant’s condition is being closely monitored.
