Mon Apr 21 13:47:07 UTC 2025: ## Two Engineering Students Drown in Farm Well Near Tiruchi
**TIRUCHI, April 21, 2025** – Two 19-year-old engineering students from Andhra Pradesh drowned in a farm well near Tiruchi on Sunday. Madala Venkatesh and Velugu Laxmi Aravind, both second-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering students from Prakasam district, were bathing in the well with a friend when the tragedy occurred. Venkatesh, who could not swim, drowned, and Aravind attempted a rescue but was also unable to survive. The bodies were recovered by the Fire and Rescue Services department. Samayapuram police have registered a case.
