**Vellore, Tamil Nadu – April 21, 2025** – Three men have been arrested in Vellore for the kidnapping of a young woman. Police identified the suspects as K. Prakash (22), V. Suriya (26), and N. Vijay (22), all residents of Vellore.
According to police investigations, Prakash, who had been pursuing the victim romantically, kidnapped her after she rejected his marriage proposal. He enlisted the help of two accomplices. The victim’s parents reported the kidnapping to the Veppamkuppam police, who launched an immediate investigation.
Despite Prakash’s attempts to evade capture by frequently changing locations and SIM cards, police successfully tracked him and his accomplices to a hideout in Vellore. The victim was rescued unharmed and the three suspects have been remanded to the Central Prison in Vellore. The investigation is ongoing.
