**LAS VEGAS** – A collision between NHL linesman Bryan Pancich and Vegas Golden Knights forward Brett Howden forced Pancich to leave Sunday night’s playoff game between the Golden Knights and the Minnesota Wild. The incident occurred 3:37 into the second period. Howden, attempting to deflect a puck, appeared to make contact with Pancich’s head near the boards. Howden briefly checked on the official before returning to the game. Backup official Frederick L’Ecuyer replaced Pancich for the remainder of the contest, which the Golden Knights won 4-2. The extent of Pancich’s injury is currently unknown.
