**Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, April 21, 2025** – Four pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh died and three others were injured in a road accident on the Neemuch-Ajmer National Highway near Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, on Sunday night. The accident involved an SUV carrying seven pilgrims from Ingoria village, Ujjain district, who were travelling to the Sanwaliya Seth temple in Chittorgarh.
Police reported that the SUV, driven at high speed, hit a road divider, veered into oncoming traffic, and collided with a truck near the Jaliya checkpost in Nimbahera. The deceased were identified as Sanjay alias Sanju (42), Gaurav (32), Anil (18), and the driver, Raja Chaudhary alias Rajesh. All four were related. The injured are receiving treatment at a government hospital in Nimbahera. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination. A police team cleared the highway to restore traffic flow.
