**Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India –** Khushboo Patani, sister of Bollywood actress Disha Patani, rescued an abandoned infant on Sunday morning, April 20th, in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The approximately nine-to-ten-month-old child was found injured in a dilapidated building near Ms. Patani’s family residence.
Ms. Patani, who was on a morning walk, heard the baby’s cries. Facing an inaccessible structure, she bravely scaled a wall to reach the infant, who was found lying on the ground with facial injuries. She provided first aid and brought the child home before contacting the police.
The infant is currently receiving treatment at a district hospital. Police are investigating the incident, reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify those responsible for abandoning the child.
