V. Rangaswamy of the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association advocated for an 81km Eastern ring road as part of the Coimbatore Master Plan 2041. He also proposed five new industrial parks totaling 200 acres for MSMEs and the designation of dry lands for industrial use.
