**Rayachoti, Andhra Pradesh, April 21, 2025** – The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) has accused the in-charge sub-registrar at the Rayachoti Sub-Registrar Office in Annamayya district of serious irregularities, including bribery and the illegal registration of properties.
AITUC district general secretary D. Sambashiva alleges that properties under the jurisdiction of YSR Kadapa district are being registered in Rayachoti, with bribes demanded for this service. He further claims rampant irregularities concerning assigned lands (DKT lands) and attempts to register lands currently involved in litigation.
Sambashiva has called on the district administration to launch a full inquiry into these allegations and make the findings public. He also demands departmental action against those responsible and the appointment of a permanent sub-registrar for Rayachoti.
