**Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, April 21, 2025** – Police in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, seized 258 kilograms of gutkha following a high-speed chase on Sunday evening. Officers conducting vehicle checks near the Four Roads junction in Panruti attempted to stop two cars, which sped away. After a brief pursuit, police apprehended the drivers and seized the gutkha, which was concealed in gunny bags. Four men – Abdul Rashid (46), Ramesh (24), Harish (26), and Shankar Lal (27) – were arrested. Charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
