Sun Apr 20 03:50:00 UTC 2025: **Kevin Hart’s Tequila Brand Awards $1.5 Million in Grants with Focus on AI Training**
NEW YORK, NY – Gran Coramino Tequila, co-founded by comedian Kevin Hart, has announced a new round of grants totaling $1.5 million to support small businesses in underserved communities across the U.S. and Mexico. The Coramino Fund, now in its third year, is a partnership with 11th-generation tequila maker Juan Domingo Beckmann and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC).
This year’s funding introduces a significant new element: AI training. In collaboration with 1st Street Partnerships, grant recipients will receive specialized instruction on leveraging artificial intelligence to improve their businesses. This addresses a critical technology gap that often hinders smaller businesses competing with larger corporations.
The initiative, which has already supported over 150 entrepreneurs, focuses on businesses in low- to moderate-income areas and those historically excluded from traditional funding sources. Previous recipients have reported significant growth, and the addition of AI training is expected to further amplify these results.
“Our goal is to equip hard-working entrepreneurs with the tools they need to succeed,” said Hart. “This AI training gives them a crucial edge in today’s competitive landscape.”
Monk Inyang, co-founder and CEO of 1st Street Partnerships, emphasized the importance of providing access to AI technology. He stated, “Entrepreneurs must have the proper training to thrive in this evolving business environment.”
Applications for the grants are now open. Interested entrepreneurs can find more information and apply on the Gran Coramino website.
