**Bengaluru, April 20, 2025** – The Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT) in Bengaluru launched its first technology festival, “Cambrian Open House,” today. The event, showcasing 126 stalls, aimed to foster innovation, research, and industry connections.

The festival featured a diverse range of activities, including a technical project exhibition with 108 student projects, a flea market, industry connect zones with leading tech companies, technical competitions, student entrepreneur presentations, and panel discussions with industry experts. The event attracted a large and diverse audience of students, parents, and tech enthusiasts.

T.G. Sitharam, Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), highlighted India’s rapid technological advancements, particularly in AI. He emphasized the nation’s shift from importing to exporting defense technology, stating that India now supplies defense technology to 65 countries. Sitharam stressed the importance of educating future generations not just to use AI, but to shape its responsible development.

CIT Principal G. Indumathi described the festival’s success, emphasizing the combination of technical displays and industry engagement opportunities. The Cambrian Open House is seen as a significant initiative promoting technological innovation and collaboration within the Bengaluru tech community.
