**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh –** Andhra Pradesh police have arrested two individuals and launched an investigation into the illegal possession and distribution of a large quantity of gelatin sticks. The explosives were seized from a warehouse in Nagarajupalli, Bapatla district, on Saturday.
According to Bapatla Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi, the accused obtained the explosives from Ankireddypalli in Telangana. Five individuals – Dasam Hanumantha Rao, D. Veeranjaneyulu, Nagandla Prasanna, Battula Sambasiva Rao, and Pratap Reddy – along with Salvo Industries Private Limited, the alleged supplier, have been implicated.
The police investigation revealed that the suspects were illegally importing, storing, and selling the gelatin sticks to quarry owners. Their license expired on March 30th. Authorities are now investigating whether the explosives were supplied to any criminal organizations.
