**Hyderabad, April 19, 2025** – A 26-year-old software engineer, Karri Chetan Reddy, was electrocuted and killed while picking mangoes near a farmland in Peddashapur, Shamshabad, on Wednesday afternoon. Reddy, a resident of Ibrahimpatnam, had accompanied his wife to a nearby examination center. Upon returning home, the couple stopped at a mango orchard, where Reddy accidentally touched an exposed transformer wire near the compound wall. He died instantly. His wife filed a complaint with the Shamshabad police station, and a case has been registered. The body was sent to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem examination, and an investigation is underway.
