Sat Apr 19 12:06:53 UTC 2025: ## Telangana CM Urges Diaspora Investment in State’s Development

**HYDERABAD, April 19, 2025** – Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has called on the Telugu diaspora in Japan to invest in the state’s ambitious development plans, highlighting key infrastructure projects as crucial for economic growth. Addressing the Japan Telugu Samakhya on Saturday, Reddy emphasized the Musi River rejuvenation, Hyderabad Metro expansion, Regional Ring Road (RRR), and radial road projects as vital for attracting investment and creating jobs.

Drawing parallels between Tokyo’s impressive riverfront development and the need for Musi River cleanup in Hyderabad, Reddy warned against environmental neglect, citing the pollution-related shutdowns in Delhi as a cautionary tale. He stressed the importance of public cooperation and collective responsibility in achieving these goals.

Reddy also highlighted Telangana’s progress in the IT and pharmaceutical sectors, urging the diaspora to contribute ideas and expertise to attract globally competitive industries. He announced plans to establish a dry port to strengthen Telangana’s position as a logistics and trade hub, concluding with a call to make Telangana a globally competitive state.
