Sat Apr 19 03:54:37 UTC 2025: ## 24 Ace JEE (Main) Exam with Perfect Scores
**New Delhi, April 19, 2025** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) today, revealing that 24 candidates achieved a perfect score of 100. Rajasthan led with the highest number of perfect scores, and one female student is among the top performers.
Over 9.92 lakh candidates sat for the second edition of the crucial engineering entrance exam. However, the results of 110 candidates were withheld due to suspected cheating, including the use of forged documents.
NTA officials clarified that the reported scores are normalized scores, not simply the percentage of marks obtained. This normalization accounts for variations across the multiple exam sessions, ensuring a fair comparison between candidates. The raw marks are converted to a scale ranging from 0 to 100 for each session.
Candidates’ performance in JEE (Main) Papers 1 and 2 will determine eligibility for JEE (Advanced), the entrance exam for admission to the 23 prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
