**Hyderabad, April 17** – Telangana is bracing for severe thunderstorms, lightning, and even hailstorms over the next two days, according to both the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad and renowned weather enthusiast T Balaji.
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the state until Saturday, warning of thunderstorms and squalls across various districts. Balaji’s forecast corroborates this, predicting particularly intense thunderstorms and hailstorms in east, west, and central Telangana on Friday evening and into Saturday morning. He also anticipates scattered intense storms and isolated hail in Hyderabad during the evening and night.
Hyderabad itself is expected to experience partly cloudy skies until April 21st, with hazy conditions predicted for the mornings until Monday.
Residents are advised to exercise caution and plan travel accordingly, given the potential for severe weather conditions.
