**Milwaukee, WI** – Southeast Wisconsin is under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 8:15 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The warning affects Dodge, Jefferson, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Walworth, and Washington counties.
The NWS warns of powerful thunderstorms bringing large hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph. Residents are urged to take immediate shelter in a sturdy building, away from windows, due to the risk of injury from hail and deadly lightning strikes.
