**MUMBAI, INDIA (April 18, 2025)** – An expert committee has submitted its findings to Pune police in the death of 37-year-old Tanisha Bhise, who allegedly died after being denied treatment at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital (DMH) due to an inability to pay a ₹10 lakh (approximately $12,000 USD) deposit.

Bhise, who was pregnant, was reportedly refused admission at DMH despite violating emergency care protocols. She was subsequently transferred to another facility where she passed away after delivering twins.

The investigation, conducted by a panel from Sassoon General Hospital and BJ Medical College, included medical records from DMH, Manipal Hospital, Surya Hospital, and Indira IVF.
