**DALLAS, TX** – Home improvement giant Lowe’s announced Monday it will acquire Dallas-based Artisan Design Group (ADG), a leading interior design firm, for $1.325 billion. The deal, expected to close in the second quarter of 2025, will be financed with Lowe’s existing cash reserves.
ADG provides design, distribution, and installation services for residential interiors, specializing in flooring, cabinets, and countertops. The company reported approximately $1.8 billion in revenue in 2024.
Lowe’s CEO Marvin Ellison stated the acquisition will significantly bolster its professional (Pro) business within the roughly $50 billion interior finishes market, expanding its total addressable market by a similar amount. ADG CEO Steve Margolius highlighted the combined strengths of ADG’s market position and Lowe’s scale in further driving growth and offering a more comprehensive service to builders and property managers. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2025.
